Cancellations and Returns

Please make contact with us within two days if you would like to amend/cancel your order.  In the rare event of a return, we accept returns on the basis of your item/items being returned within 14 days of receipt and in the condition in which they left our premises.  A full refund will be issued on items returned in good condition.  If an items arrives back damaged a fee will have to be deducted from the purchase price.

*All carriage costs will be at the expense of the buyer.

Condition of Furniture

Vintage and antique items very often show signs of their previous lives which may include knocks, lumps, bumps, small gaps, repairs, historic woodworm (always treated as a precaution) and chips that you would expect. These in my opinion only add to the character, charm and aesthetic of the furniture. Any noteworthy damage will be detailed in the item description.

My painted pieces are finished in highly pigmented paint and quality materials. All my furniture finished in wax will stand up to normal “wear and tear” We advise that you treat your furniture as you would a fine antique. Avoid excessive water and scratchy objects. Use coasters under water glasses on table tops. Clean with a dry soft cloth and avoid all liquid furniture polishes. Following this simple advise will ensure that your piece stays looking good for years to come.
